THE GOLDS

FORM Dance Projects and Riverside Theatres are proud to present The Golds. A short dance film screening at Riverside Theatres, Parramatta as part of the 2018 NSW Seniors Festival in Parramatta on 4 April.

The Golds (Growing Old Disgracefully) are a group of people from Canberra aged 60-90 years, who after retiring from a diversity of careers, now live to dance. A dance company of vital, idiosyncratic individuals, who defy the preconception that creativity is only for the young. Breaking stereotypes The Golds brings into the spotlight on the intelligence and insight that age can bring.

The short documentary film will screen at midday. After the screening there will be a Q & A session with the renown Australian filmmaker and choreographer, Sue Healey, hosted by Liz Lea.
