FORM Dance Projects is seeking expressions of interest to appoint
Board Members in a volunteer capacity from July 2019.
FORM is a dynamic hub for contemporary dance based in Parramatta, Western Sydney. Our mission is to provide opportunities for young Western Sydney dancers to develop their practice, through performance and exposure to leading Australian contemporary dance artists.
We are currently looking to grow our Board and expand our skillset of expertise. We seek people from diverse backgrounds with interest in the performing arts, who are passionate to make change and wish to support the company’s next phase of growth.
FORM partners with many arts organisations including Riverside Theatres, Sydney Festival, Sydney Dance Company and Sydney Youth Orchestras. With a 19-year track record, we are forging a path as a leading Australian presenter and producer of contemporary dance.
The FORM Board works with the Director to drive the strategic direction of the organisation and assist to obtain the resources, funds and personnel necessary to implement the organisation’s strategic objectives.
We are seeking board members from Western Sydney and beyond. We welcome all interest, but particularly from those who may have expertise in governance, law, education, marketing, sponsorship or philanthropy.
FORM is looking for community leaders who can energetically commit to the organisation’s growth and demonstrate a willingness to advocate for FORM amongst peers and networks.
